Join us to watch this new set of films that explore Carl Stough’s breathing coordination style, combined with the principles from my books, Exploracises and Humanual. There are certain anatomical facts about how the respiratory system functions optimally. Carl called this Breathing Coordination (BC). There is also the reality of how the body, mind, self, and emotions tell you that you need to breathe or not breathe. In this class, we honor both. You will see us doing hands-on practices exploring the movement of breath and the natural frequency of sound, as well as exploring the design of physicality and what influences it.
Practices include: How the diaphragm moves optimally; How support affects breath; How breath affects sound; How the diaphragm chain can be enhanced with touch and sound; How your natural frequency sound influences your health. Someday, I hope you can come in person, but for now, enjoy and learn from the video clips.
